Dartthrower has been sharpening the Darts this week trying to predict the outcome of EURO 2016.

There has been a shake-up for EURO 2016 with 8 more teams and a round of 16 added to this tournament.

Best third team from each group can progress to round of 16 so most teams will get a second chance if they slip up.

Here are our long range selections as follows:

Golden Boot Winner: Ronaldo and Giroud to fight it out

Portgual under Santos are a threat and their draw looks favourable which is the same for France who should produce the goods on home soil.

Dartthrower thinks Ronaldo at 9/1 as leading scorer is a fair price

Winner: France

Although they had no qualifying games as hosts, they look a good all round team with a mix of youth and experience.

Hosts generally go well and only hurdle is if they meet Austria (Dartthrowers Greece equivalent) who can give this tournament a shake if they meet in the QF.

Missing a few in the back but replacements have been around for a long time so they should go well despite dramas with Benzema trying to destabilise the team.

Group Winners

A: France
B: England
C: Poland
D: Spain
E: Italy
F: Portugal

Quinella/Final: France v Spain
